The following is a description of what was in Issue #4.
Once again, Callbase Capricorn gives you a window into the mind of the editor, while the Communications Centre provides you with reader's insights and Biographies lets you peek into the lives of the writers. Or does it?
"The Sand Castle" by C. A. Mehrlein:
another stunning example of why C. A. is destined to be one of Canada's finest writers. A little boy builds a sand castle and populates it with plastic soldiers. Then strange things start happening. The story delights and leaves you wondering, what happens next?
"Social Security" by Victor West:
a poem with a biting commentary on the identification of citizens.
"Charlie Plays With Unicorns" by Max Read:
a touching tale of a little boy's encounter with one of the most maginficient of the mythical beasts, the Unicorn.
"Extrinsic" by Bert Ellis:
this is Bert's second story to appear in SpaceWays. It's a story of aliens invading the earth. Don't groan! It's not the same old story at all!
"The Survivor" by Roderick D. Turner:
if you don't enjoy roller coasters, don't read this story! It's an action packed SF thriller which moves so fast, you'll be breathless. Can a story have a big special effects budget like movies do? You bet! And this one has it.
"Friendship Flight" by Eric E. White:
no less bizarre than his poem "The Night" (Issue #2), but more light-hearted and delightful.
